Calling and Mission

In the Gospel of Matthew chapter 28:19-20 Jesus commands us to, “Go….” Those verses have compelled me to dive into discipleship in a big way, and it has become a passion of mine. My goal is to train people on the disciplines of discipleship so that they fully know how to live out being a disciple and becoming a disciple-maker. I want to train believers in Jesus to understand how to fulfill the call from Jesus to go.

History & Background

About Me

One of my greatest passions is helping people discover how to live as God designed them—to see themselves as God sees them and walk passionately and consistently with Jesus. I believe the Bible holds answers for all of life, but studying it alone can feel overwhelming. Walking through Scripture with others not only brings growth and clarity for them but also deepens my relationship with God and those I serve. My goal is to create resources that help others experience the joy of walking with Jesus and growing in discipleship.

Jesus’ example in the Gospels inspires me. He invested deeply in His disciples, teaching and guiding them with love—even Judas, who betrayed Him. His call in Matthew 28:19-20 to make disciples gives us a clear mission and the opportunity to join in His vision for the world. By giving of ourselves to help others grow, we experience blessings beyond measure. My hope is to see many embrace this multiplying model of discipleship.

My Journey

I’ve been involved in ministry since junior high, driven by a passion for God’s Word and His truth. Over the years, I’ve engaged in church leadership, college ministry, worship, medical missions, and more. Founding a medical missions ministry after becoming a nurse ultimately led me to Global Opsarion, where I now focus on discipleship. Reflecting on these opportunities, I see a common thread: a need for deeper understanding and application of Jesus’ directive to make disciples.

Now in my 50s, I feel called to invest in work that will outlast me. My love for people, as God sees them, motivates me to create lasting resources that transform lives for generations. Discipleship has become my greatest passion, and I pray that my efforts will bear fruit both now and in the future.

Why I Do What I Do

I love seeing people grow in their faith and helping them meet and live for Jesus. Creating impactful experiences for those seeking truth and meaningful relationships drives my work with GO. This ministry reflects my heart and mission, and I hope many will join Sara and me in this journey. Together, we can answer Jesus’ call to go and make disciples, fighting for hearts and lives in His name.
